dad dream #2

so i'm walking across the lawn from the sidewalk up to the front of the parental home (with someone i can't identify) and there is my dad lying down in a wheeled hospital bed, complete with portable bedside monitors, i.v. drip, and bedside table.

for some reason it is significant to me that his feet are aimed at the front of a house and that even as i know i'm dreaming it is the first time that i can recall seeing my father enfeebled in a dream.

i ask him why he is outside, and he responds: "yo deseaba alguna luz del sol, pero su madre se enojó"

(i wanted some sunlight, but your mother got angry).
